These Plants Are Your Golden Ticket To A Bee-Free Garden

Sharing is caring!

Are you allergic to bees? Then gardening might be really difficult for you. As summer ends, bees become frequent guests in the garden. Your ripe, juicy fruit and veggies are why they can’t resist stopping by for a delicious snack!

You can’t just get rid of all your fruit trees, you’ll need to find a more suitable solution. Luckily for you, some of my family members are allergic to bees. They live in fear of bee bites every sunny season.

It was like that for years until I found a way to drive all the bees away in the friendliest way possible. I started by planting flowers that are natural repellents for them, and they were a big hit! I can’t keep this a secret any longer, so it’s time to share my hidden gems with you!

Bees Won’t Even Notice Your Red Flowers

Bees have the ability to see in the ultraviolet spectrum, which we can’t. But luckily for you, they won’t be able to spot the color red! Isn’t that awesome?

So the first thing you’ll need to do is plant flowers with fiery-colored petals. You can start with poppies, canna lilies, celosias, marigolds, and peonies. The list is pretty big, so you have lots of options to choose from.

It’s great that bees will just fly past these blossoms, not even paying attention to them. At least you’ll be safe and won’t end up with a bee sting!

Your Trumpet Flowers Won’t Interest Bees At All

What do you think about trumpet-shaped flowers? I hope you like them because bees can’t stand these plants at all! They find it hard to get the nectar from their blossoms. Bees don’t want to waste their precious time on something they can’t have!

Narcissus, amaryllis, honeysuckle, and buttercups are some of the plants that will keep you safe. On the other hand, they will attract singing hummingbirds. At least they don’t bite, right?

Besides driving bees away, planting these flowers will give you amazing cottage vibes!

Shh, Bees Can’t Stand The Scent Of These Herbs

Basil, peppermint, mint, and thyme are some of the herbs that will drive away any bees that come for a visit! Bees don’t like their strong scents

If you don’t have a large garden, try planting them on the terrace. After your herbs grow, you’ll finally be able to enjoy your morning coffee without bees bothering you.

Your herbs will only be a few steps away, so you can use them in your meals. It’s a win-win situation!

Try This Amazing Cucumber Trick, You’ll Be Shocked by the Results

This trick might save your life, and all you need is a cucumber! They are probably fully grown in your garden now. Cucumbers contain acid that repels bees. You will only need to pick one, peel it, and place the peel on your terrace, porch, or in the soil of your container plants.

You’ll see results right away because you won’t hear any buzzing as long as the peel doesn’t dry out. After it dries, peel another cucumber and repeat the process!

Have you decided which blossoms to plant? It’s a difficult choice because each of these amazing flowers will definitely keep bees away from your garden. If you have a large yard, then planting them all would be an excellent idea!

Once they successfully grow in your garden, you’ll be able to step outside without worrying about stings or allergies! I’m truly enjoying this summer with my family.

We now spend every day, and even some nights, in the backyard without buzzing bees! Now it’s your turn to make your garden bee-free!
